If it was up to you, what singles would you have released from Hilary's albums?

For me it would be:

Metamorphosis:
Why Not - because it was featured in the Lizzie McGuire movie and fit into it really well
So Yesterday - because it really worked well as the lead single
Come Clean - was a great follow up to 'So Yesterday' but was released way too long after
Little Voice - could have been a hit internationally (not just in Australia) but would need a proper video
Anywhere But Here - my fave on the album, it could have been released before 'Our Lips Are Sealed' because it was featured on the 'A Cinderella Story' soundtrack.

Our Lips Are Sealed - a REALLY good single choice, but it was released too far before 'A Cinderella Story' hit theatres and really ended up doing nothing for the film

Hilary Duff:
Fly - really could have been a hit with a proper video and some decent promotion
The Getaway - THE standout track from the album, really a shame it wasn't released

after that I'm not sure, knowing Hollywood Records though they would have only released those 2 tracks, but releasing 'Someone's Watching Over Me' worked really well in Australia as 'Raise Your Voice' was just being released there and it was great promotion for the film!

Most Wanted:
Wake Up - the obvious lead single, the other new tracks are good, but not up to par with this one
Beat of My Heart - 'Break My Heart' would be good too, but it's too much like some stuff off of 'Hilary Duff' and that album really didn't do well!

So, what would you release?

Metamorphosis:
So Yesterday/Why Not - like the catchy tracks
Come Clean - nice choice for 2nd single ^_^
Anywhere But Here/The Math - Would've been a good choice of AA Side or just Anywhere but Here

Hilary Duff:
I Am - Would've been a nice lead track
The Getaway & Jericho - Best songs by far she has done (each track limited release, i.e. Getaway only for US (and maybe EU ;) ), Jericho only for JP and AU).
Someone's watching over me - nice track to round off the album

Most Wanted:
hmmm hard choice as I dont particularly like any of the new tracks
Wake Up/Come Clean (Remix 2005) - would've been a good AA side to start things off
Supergirl & Beat Of My Heart - Limited release to different parts of the world

:twitch: I TOTALLY forgot about 'I Am'! It would have been nice instead of 'Fly' as the lead single!

I was thinking about that too, but wasn't sure because it is only on the Collectors Signature Edition, would be good though!

Well, from what I've heard 'The Getaway' was supposed to be released but after the album dropped out of the charts so fast Hollywood records decided not to spend any more time or money promoting the album and move onto the next project! 'The Getaway' would have made a GREAT single!

I am is a good song and so is Break My Heart. They would both make good singles for the Greatest Hits album.

i notice that many of the songs she has released has just been in australia, does anyone know a reason why? though i must admit Why Not was a brilliant debut... :)

Yes Hilary's release 2 Australian-only singles 'Little Voice' and 'Someone's Watching Over Me', all of her other singles have been released in North America, though not as a physical single release (video-only).

As for why they have only been released in Australia I'm not sure, although she seems to be quite popular there, and 'Someone's Watching Over Me' was released to promote 'Raise Your Voice' there as 'Fly' had been out for ages by the time the film hit theatres there!
