hey,
i think that steps should never be forgotton again in there lives cos they was great and in the uk they was the band that had the most fans in the uk thats wot i herd from newsround when they split. sounds great but in bout 87 years i think they will still be known

I doubt they'll be remembered in 2101 (87 years is a bit of an odd number isn't it??) - while they were one of the biggest UK groups ever, their success never even came close to that of the Beatles etc.

Hmm... but such insignificant things go down in history. For example,
"In the 1930's around the time of the Second World War, children used to listen to Bob Holness on the Wireless"
...and then in the future History books...
"In 2000 around the time of the War in Iraq, children used to listen to Steps on their compact disc players".

Hi everyone,
I haven't been on this board for a long while, how is everyone. Anywayz, when they all split at the time this is what they all wanted. To go out on a high, so they will be remembered for the things that they have done over the years and if they were together now I think they would just evaporate into non exsistance, so it was the best thing to do.

i think they will still be rememberd in thousands of years time cos if i have children i will give them my cds to listen to them and then they will give cds themthere children and so on. well it might work
