Well the "sexy" look obviously isn't working; for both Rachel Stevens and Lisa. It's the music that people like - Lately and Sweet Dreams My LA EX were really good. The follow up singles weren't as good and sold less.

I think people are buying talent now. Claire's got a great voice and should focus on that, as well as co-writing all her new songs.

i personally think she needs a new direction, some new creative flair - work with different writers and producers. I personally think she should take this year out to develop as a singer and artist... work on her own writing too, and if it's good enough, then release it. But not go down the route of wanting total control over her direction - that's where most artists go tits up!

Lovin the Claire sig. She looks proper fit. I kind of agree with you too. I personally think the one thing she needs to work on is confidence. She's a great singer. My fav singer. She has a lot of fans. Even people that don't like Steps think she's got a great voice, so she's got nothin' to worry about. She's gorgeous and extremely talented. Come on Claire, your gonna be great!

see I don't think age will be a problem though. If she took time off, and came back and re-launched herself, with the kind of music she's always wanted to do - ie. Celine Dion belter-ballads - I think she'd turn the tide of people who still see her as "claire from steps" you know?
