BEAT OF MY HEART
It has been reported that Hilary said on MTV Hit's this week that her next single will be "Beat of My Heart"
I think it's the logical choice, because it's a good dance-y pop song, like "Wake Up", which has done her wonders! Hopefully if it does good "Break my Heart" could be released as a 3rd single from Most Wanted.
Thanks to PrinceJoel on Hilary Fan for posting about this

I think "Supergirl" would make a great single too, and it would push for people who don't have the signature edition to get it, but Beat Of My Heart is more of a dance-able / pop song like "Wake Up" which has been a bigger hit for her than the more rock-ish "Fly" was ...

Supergirl should've been release. 'Beat of My heart'.
Hope it helps boost sales of Most Wanted.

That's cool, I would have preferred Break My Heart to be the new single though :)

has she released Wake Up in the UK yet?

nope, I can't see there even being a UK release, the last single from her in the UK was Come Clean. It seems like she's given up on UK releases after Come Clean not doing that well.

Yeah, it seems like her, or atleast Hollywood Records don't care about her having success there.
"Our Lips Are Sealed" was planned to be released in the UK last September, but it was cancelled and she hasn't released a single there since. Shame, because "Wake Up" could do fairly well I think.

I didn't think Our Lips Are Sealed was set for UK release. wow, I learn something new everyday lol. I thought the video was just on the channels to promote Hilary, cause I'm sure she had a film out around the time it was playing here.

I wouldn't think she would've been a massive success, although I could've seen "Wake Up" top end of top 20 maybe.
Shame really, I would've thought "Most Wanted" would be a great re-introduction to Hilary since she's put all her best tracks on it, maybe changed it to suit the UK market (re-added 'Someone's Watching over me' in the tracklisting maybe ;) )

Yeah, it was supposed to be released to promote "A Cinderella Story" in the UK, just like in the USA.

I agree, it could have been a great way to re-introduce Hil to the UK market, but it's instead been released quitely with what looks like no promotion. Maybe if they changed the tracklist a little bit, and add a few different tracks (Anywhere But Here, Someone's Watching Over Me ....) instead of some of the "2005 Remixes" which are not good at all. Really it's just a wasted opportunity.
By the way; "Come Clean" didn't chart that badly did it?

I'm pretty sure it made the bottom quarter of the top 20, I think it went in at no.16. I personally think anything in the top 20's good, but unfortunately music execs don't seem to see it that way. Seems like falf the time, songs are considered to be flops if they either don't chart in the upper half of the top 20 or if they don't stay in the top 20 for more than a week.

oh right.... it seems that Hollywood Records are not really supporting their acts making it in the UK i mean cause of Hilary and now Jesse McCartney, he's already up to his 3rd release in Australia and he still has not released Beautiful Soul in the UK, which is a shame :(

to be honest, I think it's a good thing Jesse's not being released in the UK at the moment, his style of music is like non-existent in the UK charts and I can't see it making a comeback anytime soon.

what the :twitch:
the UK market is THE ONLY market to cater for poppy songs/artists i mean sure a little bit of pop here and there can be found in charts but i mean, for example the UK is the only country where Girls Aloud are like really really popular .... they havent made any impact on any other charts apart from the UK and Europe really.... but i still love them :D

I meant as in guys singing Jesse's style of music ;) Girls Aloud are the only pop band at the moment that are doing well, probably cause they came into the music scene when pop was doing better than it is now, and they built up a reputation of catchy good music, and they've managed to keep it. The charts is giving way to guys with guitars and female RnB at the moment. It's a shame though, pop boy singers/bands are like near enough non existent at the moment, excluding one release from the Backstreet Boys.
In my last comment, I hope you didn't think I have a problem with jesse, cause I don't. I love his music, I just wouldn't want to see him release a record here and it do bad cause of the state of the british charts and then have him not release here after. I'd rather he wait until pop came back in here a bit so he could have some proper success here :)

Yeah, making it to #16 is actually pretty good, like look at Kelly Clarkson - "Low/The Trouble With Love Is" charted around #24 (not sure exactly) and she still came back to release more songs in the UK, I think Hollywood are just more/less ignoring the UK market right now, hopefully when she releases her next album the UK will get some kind of single release.

I hope the Uk does, So yesterday was a success here, I don't see why they've let one single put a setback to her career here.
