I can GUARANTEE that it is definately live. I know this as Lisa introduces the song. "Hear she is, our Clara... Then into the song we go! It's not great sound quality but I thought every one deserved a treat seeing as nothings being happening lately!!! B)

Indeed Claire preformed the track live every time during concert
I saw the concert four times in London and every time Claire
made sure she put out powerful vocals during performance that
proved it was indeed live !

This clip brings back good memories ......

claire performed live I surrender too?? i do believe the first verse was live, but I mean the second verse to the end of the performance, was that live too? i read some concert reviews, not the concert vid reviews, that she mimed that song, which is true?

Claire, I think sang it all live on the night. The vid was def edited where you mentioned. However, I'm confident she was live on the night because if you play the vid back, right at the end as she sings, "So surrender too", it sounds live so you would hear the audience responce straight away. (Hope that makes sense!!)

btw about I Surrender - she woulda sung it all live on tour im sure (i missed that tour too!) but on the vid it goes to a recording after her first verse and goes back to live vocals at the end

what made people think that "in it for love" on tour was live? i have just downloaded it, and there's no way that is live singin! it just sounded like they'd played the CD (as Steps usually did!)

and like sum1 said, i surrender was live for the first verse then completely mimed except for like 2 added lines near the end :)

I agree with you partly. If you listen to the first line she sings, she goes slightly out of tune. This to me suggests that she was live during atleast some parts of the song. Still not sure. The difference in the live version is it goes up a key for the extended last chorus, part from that, there's hardly any difference.

i think IIFL was live - but i think the backing vocals were very high on that song, plus its really layered so at times its kinda hard to tell the difference between her live voice and the BV's.
But u can tell its live cos she really belts out 1 or 2 bits bigger than on the record - but i agree its v similar to the recorded version.

yeh, i just listened to the first verse and chorus again - i hav to say im a bit of an expert over whether peeps are singing live or not, but she deffo is there, theres subtle differences tho it is surprisingly like the CD - just goes to show how good a live singer she is!

She allways tended to sound better singign live when she wasn't bing recorded. Probably less nervous.
