Okay, so I've been thinking and maybe it would be smart for Hollywood to change the tracklisiting to the forthcoming UK "Most Wanted", they could maybe include the Raise Your Voice songs from "Hilary Duff", seeing as that album didnt receive a UK release, but the film did. I was thinking something like:

1. "Wake Up"
2. "The Getaway"
3. "Our Lips Are Sealed"
4. "So Yesterday"
5. "Jericho"*
6. "Break My Heart"
7. "Rock This World" Remix 2005
8. "Beat Of My Heart"
9. "Come Clean" Chris Cox Remix
10. "Why Not?"*
11. "Little Voice"*
12. "Someone's Watching Over Me"*
13. "Fly"
14. "Now You Know"*
UK Bonus Track
15. "Wake Up" Bermudez & Harris Mix*

I think keeping "Supergirl" off the album, along with some of the other tracks, and replacing them with more tracks from "Hilary Duff" that are not available in the UK would be smart. Then they could use "Supergirl" as "Wake Up"'s b-side, which would encourage fans to buy it!

Like, Australia is getting totally different "Most Wanted" tracklisting, so doing it in the UK too is a possibilty.

Also, maybe Hollywood will change the artwork again, like with "Metamorphosis". Really, there is so much Hollywood could do to make this CD sell, and they just have to put the effort in again.

I think they could just replace the songs that were on Metamorphosis with different songs, and put Supergirl on the single. I don't think they'd need much other change, they'd just need to promote well.

If I'm being completey honest, only a very tiny percent of the UK actually care about Hilary's music...that was shown when she flopped over her a while back. Record companies can change artwork and add as many tracks as they want but if theres gonna be no audience for it then why bother?

I kind of have to agree since I'm doubting the success of Hilary's music career in the UK  , but I like making tracklisting so mine would be:

1. Wake Up
2. Rock This World (Remix 2005)
3. Fly
4. Supergirl
5. Someone's Watching Over Me
6. The Getaway
7. Do You Want Me?
8. Break My Heart
9. I Am (Remix 2005)
10. Who's The Girl?
11. Beat Of My Heart
12. Jericho (Remix 2005)

Bonus Tracks:
13. So Yesterday
14. Come Clean (Remix 2005)
15. Why Not (Remix 2005)

:bleh:

thing is though, what percent of the UK actually knew Hilary's music? Cause after So Yesterday, she didn't get that much promotion compared to lots of other artists who were releasing at the time.

Well if she isnt promoting how will she be known?

promotion isn't entirely down to the artist, management and other people behind the scenes arrange how things are promoted, so it's not all the artists fault if a CD is promoted badly.

the thing is, the artist needs to agree with the promotions, if the artists dont want to do it, why waste management and company time planning something that might not happen

artists are forced to promote if that is stated as an agreement in the contract, if they state they dont want to promote in the contract the artists are not obligated

the whole ideal of bonus tracks is that since the UK, Australia, and other countries, have profitable sales in the singles areas, whereas the US dont really sell singles, tahts why on imported cds, you'll see import songs instead of regular tracklistings on US releases

by listing bonus tracks, its to hopefully encourage those who bought the single to go purchase the albums also

I've bought a copy of "Most Wanted" in Virgin today (and it wasnt an import since it was priced £12.99 and no sticker with "IMPORT" on it).

Sadly it was the same tracklist as the standard version of "Most Wanted", so the answer to this topic is 'no' lol

I really wanted
"Jericho [Remix 2005]"
"Party Up [Remix 2005]"
"Supergirl"
"Do You Want Me (Live @ AOL)"

Hopefully the Signature Edition will be out here too, woo bonus xmas present! :bleh:

I think that one was probably actually an import, I got mine in HMV for the same price, and it's an import, and it's the standard version too.

I hope that when the albunm is properly released here, that it'll be the signature version, seeing as the big fans of Hilary will probably all already have the normal version by the time of the proper release date.

Sadly, I doubt the Signature Edition will be released in the UK, even though Hil does great in Australia, even they didn't receive a Signature Edition, so I really don't really think the UK stand a chance of getting it seeing her lack of success in the past...

It probably is an import.

Like the Lindsay Lohan album was avaliable in HMV for ages at normal price before being officially released with a different track on it.

True, I think they should stop selling the imports though, if people continue buying the imports instead of the actual album when it's released, it looks like "Most Wanted" is gonna fail miserably, unless Hollywood do something amazing with it (Change the artwork, add new tracks ....)

I hope they do add some new tracks to the official release, cause if there are new songs on it, I'd buy a second copy :)

Me too, I'd gladly order a UK import of it if there was something special about it, but I'm starting to doubt there will be, the most i can see happening is "Supergirl" and some of the other signature edition tracks being added or a "Wake Up" remix being included...
