We just had "popstars- the rivals" in germany and the f***ing girlband covered sundown for their album!!! I mean I don't blame them as it probably wasn't their choice, but they don't know that the song is stolen and so nobody else in german does.... :angry: and it sounds sooooooooo horrible!!!! you can hear a clip here:

Ahhh lol that sounds horrible...their accents are cute though..i have a thing with accents esp. British ones :lol:

OMG!
i just pre-listened the song on amazon, im german too, didn know theyd cover it. omg, its really horrible. and i think its mean to steel the song, tho its true it was not their choice. cant understand y german marketing ppl who r working for the bands success' (which has already fucked up in germany btw cuz they didn win the popstars tv compeition; like 1 of their songs ne way and the gals look quite gd :P) got to "copy" sc8's album opening title. thats not noice.

i like their music, too...i also think rebecca is quite cool, as you can so hear from when she is talking, that she is from Berlin/ Neukölln...*gg*

Holy sh*t they sounded like crap! they sounded hella stupid, they should really start singing in their own language. i mean, if they know that they can't sing, then they shouldn't release an album with bad covers. if they covered "my" songs, i'd sue the sh*t out of them for making it sound so horrible! :rolleyes:

The American Juniors cd hasn't even come out yet...the Sundown version they did on the show (they never even recorded it in a studio) isn't the real version they'll be releasing...they did it twice on the show I think, once in a fake music video and another time a contestant sang it (and yes she did bad and because of that, she didn't make the group)this was in July and August on the show before SC8's Sundown was even released!

Yes, but correct me If I'm wrong, didn't SC8 perform some new songs on their S Club United Tour? In which case proves that they recorded this songs before the American Juniors did.
Lets NOT get into this arguement about SC8 and AJ again, they are on the same management and will never cross paths so does it really matter if they do the same songs? Not really ....

some weeks ago i bought on ebay the first album from the german postars the duel losers "preluders". I recieved the cd one week ago but didn't had the time to listen the whole cd but now I saw that they have sundown on their album and it is the sc8 song. So after american juniors the preluders also covered the song. :(

Sundown is NOT a cover.It is there song. Big Fun was the 80's cover. Their are other sogns out there called Sundown but they are not the same song at all. Sundown is an s club 8 original and that i'm positive about

Thats a truly awful cover of Sundown. S Club 8's version is far better.

I heard it. It sickens me. First American Juniors and now these dames. Oye! It sounds terrible. I was fine with American Juniors but this has gone too far. (waves white flag.. [SIZE=1]dido) I give up Sundown is just loved by too many people and simon keeps selling the song so he can make more money. Isnt that nice :)
