The latest Swedish idol winner (Agnes) has made a new version of H & Claire's "Let me carry you".
Jörgen Elofsson wrote the song also wrote "It's the way you make me feel" for Steps and 2 other songs for H & Claire's album. But LMCY is the only of the songs not produced by himself. The new version by Agnes has Jörgen Elofsson as the producer of the song. So now you can hear how he intended the song to be. I like both versions =)
you can listen to a clip of Agnes version on her site: http://www.agnescarlsson.se/

From this intro, it sounds a little better produced. Less tacky.

it sounds happier-more melodic.
like it, its got lovely lyrics, but always sounded a bit "weepy" on AYAM...

I don't know what 'weepy' and 'tacky' means, but I really prefer the Agnes version, it's more commercial and powerfull. The HClaire version is sleepy, gospel, decent...
In general, the HClaire music wasn't very...WOW!, but Claire's vocals are!!

I didn't like that song at all when I first got the album but it's grown on me over the years, still my least favourite song they've done though.

I thought the lyrics was s**t though : Let Me Carry You, Let me be the one, oh let me carry you. Let me be the one..
It's still a joke for me and my mates. But still, I love AYAM the album.. :)

Prefer this new version if I'm honest. It's not the same without Claire's voice but the production on it makes it soooo much better. It was by far my least favourite track on H&C's album and the only one I don't really listen too - glad its at the end of the album.

I like it, but her voice is not a patch on Claire's
