Due to some idiots from another site/forum our videos are being 'deleted'. All we can tell it is because we are becoming a popular site and they obviously have issues with this and are going to the lowest possible level and removing the videos.
The lame thing is, that
a. They don't own the videos anyway
b. We got a 5Mb/s upload speed, uploading a 70mb takes all of 90seconds ....
c. Its just sad, many people can't view the videos as they live overseas.
Despite the upload speed, neither myself or Emily want to keep reuploading videos week in week out. So we will probably have to rejig the media area accordingly.
The stupid thing is we know who is doing this, but I don't want to name them in public, but its really very pity and sad. I feel for our visitors who obviously want to download the videos to view them, I already have the videos so its not really affecting me if this is indeed an attempt on a personal attack on me.
For now the videos will stay offline until we work out our new media download section. I know people here also know who is doing this, if so have a word in their ear and tell them to stop being so stupid.
If this continues to happen we might have to change the format of our videos, maybe to divx, that way we will only be uploading 30-40mb videos instead of 80mb videos, as we want to be able to share the videos with everyone just we won't keep uploading them.
