WASN'T THE BEST STEPS SONG "BUZZZ". IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SINGLE? MANY REVIEWS SAW IT AS THE STRONGEST TRACK ON THE ALBUM "BUZZ".

nah i didnt think so, would have been a good video with live features n behind the scenes shots but BUZZZ (in my opinion) wasnt the best as i thought Turn Around had potential 2 b a single

To be fair, if I was in the group, I wouldn't want to perform the song eiether. I thought it was the poorest track they've recorded to date. Well, apart from Happy Go Lucky. That was not only very sad, it was painful. B)

They actually did perform it at Nickolodeon 2001 Concert sometime, it has just never been televised. IMO they've recorded much worse, but Buzz is probably the best album I've ever bought for having so many single-potential tracks.

I really like Buzz too and I totally agree about "Experienced" - it's probably the worst Steps song. Makes me cringe each time I hear it.

Probably something to do with H talking about losing his virginity. Casts awful images of him and Tim Byrne in my mind! :blink:

As Nick said it WAS performed, along with a whole bunch of other songs from Buzz which where not performed elsewhere apart from in the USA but they are collecting dust in the Viacom archives somewhere!

no US Disney concert wasn't live (at least not live when it's on TV)..... the music arrangements were different (actually better than the original), but the vocal were the same as the CD

but Lisa sang live in SYBM, while the others still sounded identically to the CD.....

Yeah most of it wasn't live, they even had 2 "backup singers" trying to make everyone think they were. But another part that was live was Lee's verse in 5,6,7,8 they cut off the song into a clip of lee practicing and forgetting his lines (which was priceless I might add). That is what bugged me about the concert was that we only saw 2 out of the like 5 songs fully (OFS and Tragedy) all the other ones are just like half of the song then cut to an interview, but SYBM was almost the full song, but they cut off to a commercial. Stupid Disney, they should have kicked out Youngstown (which were crap), and devoted the whole 1 hour concert to them, so that way we can see the interviews, and behind the scenes stuff, as well as get more songs in there like DSOB which was performed and recorded, but never made it to the concert on TV (due to the 30 min time slot probably)

Yeha the disney one had a "live band" i say that as they where obviously just overplaying the backing track but it was the closest we ever got to Steps performing with a live band!
