on one hand, you think its better if S Club 8 had less members. on the other hand, you dont want her to leave and get paid more. it doesnt make sense. i personally dont think shes tired of it or anything like that. this is her dream and she knows that if you're a singer, you gotta sing singles over and over again. as for lipsynching, they really ARE singing, just that the people with the sound controls lower it. if you ever see the karaoke winner performance, you'd know what id mean cause you'd hear stacey, and then the sound people lower her mic and blasted the winner's.

What I mean is, I really want Frankie to stay, she's so good for the group even if she's not my fave (she's number 3 on my list of girls). I think they should try to bump her pay (even if this puts her in unequal footing with the others) to try to get her to stay IF she was leaving (which I doubt). But if Frankie left, there's no need to replace, not like they ever could and besides, the group is big enough, when people critcize it they say it's too many kids on stage, and it's hard for non-fans to get to know all the members by name and recognize them etc. so it might be better for the group if they had less members, you see they foresaw this with the American Juniors and they only have 5 members. I do not think Simon Fuller was in his right mind when he picked 7 members for S Club and then 9 for SCJ (however, he did not plan for them to be a official group). You must admit that's alot of people!

Um, the karoke winner thing confuses me cuz I didn't see the vid, I just know you're not really singing when the track with vocals is playing. You're supposed to really sing when you lip sync but only to make it look believable because the ppl with sound controls have your mic turned off (not low, or so I thought)! I've seen SC8 (as well as Nelly) not move their mouths to the words, I've seen Hilary Duff's song skip (in the vocal part), I don't think their mics were on at all. Well, even if they are lowered no one can hear. :( I think they can do a decent job now at singing live too, they've had tons of time together as a group. Sometimes I think to myself like you, well they're not singing smiley songs..but I just prefer to see them smile, don't you think they look better that way? Esp. in FNM and Sundown, those are cheeery songs and in DTMYS they can smile at the end, I think they should.

SC8 mic's are rather flimsy when they dance if they did sing live with flimsy mics the sound would be all over the place thats why in one step closer when they did it live they used hand mics because you get better sound

i just read the message about their leaving. now they want to leave the S Club 8 community. that stuff happens when some fans of a group or whatnot go crazy and then they just dont want to deal with that anymore. i feel bad for them and its not a good feeling. been there, not cool.

Wow, you're right. Well, that is with a karoke singer so it's not like a real performance (which still I kinda doubt have mics on at all, but i'll now give them the benefit of a doubt for optimism and I do love them and all), but you're right that's not a track cuz its all shaky! Well, at least I can say for sure I've heard 2 live performances for sure, thank you. :)

S Club 8's mics aren't even real. I've got two years of University under my belt, majoring in Technical Theatre. I've worked dozens of gigs hooking up PA systems, bodypacks, mics, and other wireless systems. I know what I'm talking about.

S Club 8's mics are flimsy. This is because they are just some plastic moulded to look like a headworn boom mic as far as I can tell. I have never seen a headworn mic in that configuration; and I've worked with Shure, Crown, & AT mics of many configurations.

To back up this point, note that S Club 8 wore completely different headworn mics on their tours. These were functional mics, which were not flimsy.

S Club 8 do not wear bodypacks. This is terribly easy to figure out. The boys would have then attached to their pants, girls to their pants or bra strap (no offense, but it is done). They're big black boxes and you can tell if they're there or not. The bodypack is the transmitter that sends the signal from the microphone to the reciever.

How would every Sound Technician be commonly aware to turn down the allegedly-live vocals of S Club 8 and replace them with a vocal track? Did every Sound Technician in the UK get a little postcard in the mail? If so, that is impressive.

Anyways, I'm only speaking from years of experience and first-hand knowledge. So I guess I must not know anything.

When you sign with Simon it's for life, you could maybe quit but you can never be allowed to sing and get paid for it.

Doubt that very much, SC8 are under 18 for a start, Mr Fuller would probably be in viloation of child welfare laws if that was the case.

Believe me no contract is 100% safe, take legal action (a la Backstreet Boys $75million case against Jive Records) and you will get a result somehow!

Daniel also spread out rumours about other webmasters, he tried to hack sites and made hate-sites about other webmasters, so don't believe what they say about either other sites or sclub8.

Wow for life? I have to say Simon Fuller is a GENIUS. Still, he has no morals and that's terrible but he is a genius, makes so much money, it's no secret that SC8 has crap contracts I bet, Fuller really rakes it in. I can't stand him but I admire his smarts so much haha!
