Kim to visit the PCD Lounge

On monday the 14th of August, Kim will be visiting the PCD Lounge to chat with fans! She will be there at 1pm Pacific time, 4pm Eastern and 9pm GMT.

If you don't have the Lounge, you can download it here at http://www.themusiclounge.com/

As far as I know, groups of about 2/3 will be teleported to a secret place they have for her and will try to give you 5 minutes with her! :dance:

I have to admit though, that 'Lounge' concept is a rather strange one, a straight out chatroom would be far easier to get around. It reminds me of The Sims Online, which was again just an over gloryfied chat room

Yeah the Lounge is a bit weird, and it would be easier to have a chat room, but its weirdly addictive :rofl: I think they are just trying to be different, and it seems to be working for them! Anyhoo, onto other things, here is John from the Lounge on the Lounge forum:

Background

At approximately 1:00pm PDT on Monday August 14th, Kimberly from the Pussycat Dolls will login to the San Francisco server. She will be transported to the designated chat and Q&A area (where could it be?)

Chatting w/ Kim

Loungers should look for me ("john" and/or "eviljg") around The Lounge. I may be in the plaza, the club, the hot tubs, the disco rooms, the tea house, you name it.

I will be selecting users and transporting them to the mystery chat location to spend a few minutes with Kimberly. Loungers will chat with Kim in groups of two or three. Once your time is up, you will be returned to the plaza.

Additional Info

Since time with Kim will be short, please prepare some questions ahead of time

Not everyone will get a chance to talk to Kim -- we'll get as many people in as we can

Please be nice and respectful (this goes without saying)

The transcript of the chat will be logged and posted on the forums sometime after the event

After the session, there will be an after-party up on the rooftop disco (yes, it's hard to get up there, but that's why you have friends to teleport to)

We're still in beta, and this is the first Lounge event, so expect some glitches

Did anyone here get in? I never tried and all I can see on the Lounge forums is lots of people complaining that it didn't work ...

Any news from it? I doubt anything exciting was said, it never really does happen lol
