I'm not surprised, I've often seen Rochelle down there. Also once saw Rochelle with Frankie, Jay and some guy friends too. I'm from Romford, though I don't really live there anymore but yeh see them around there a lot :)

lol I know it's not a shocker, I was just trying to be creative ignore me.

She was handing out leaflets from a loans and mortage company, and was wearing a bright pink top that said "speak to me about paying your mortage for a year" or something.

She looked very pretty though.

I think its good for her as hopefully it will keep her feet on the ground.

If she will pay my mortgage for a year, without a penny leaving my pockets, then I will gladly talk to her until the cows come home.

Why is she doing this? LMAO, is she that desperate?

Why is she doing this? LMAO, is she that desperate?

Because as a teenager who happens to have been in a slightly successful pop bad she will always get the most exquisite of job offers, naturally.....

;) ;)

Has anyone forgot that Stacey worked in the Perfume Shop until she was forced to quit due to some verbal abuse from some yobs? So I dont see why it is so surprising to some people on here lol! :) I thought she had more opportunities than this like the band, modelling etc?

dreaminsimi

And she isnt working for the mortgage company she was probably hired just to promote it.
I cant imagine they paid her well! :lol2:

Last year apparently aparently they were going one step closer to the dumper or something like that, its in the archives on here somewhere either in the S Club 8 part or in the stacey part.

She was a sort of VJ like on TRL here in the United States and even after quitting, I don't think I'd see Vanessa Minnilo handing out flyers, especially after just participating in Miss England. ;)

Ms England isnt a huge thing over here I dont think. I dont think it attracts much media interest until in reaches the the international stage, even then its not likely to headline news and lots of girls apply for the chance to represent England, but what do they do during the day?! They need to earn a living somehow whether its a showbiz job or not.

So that must be at least one Junior who would agree to a reunion tour.

ehh, lol, I understand they've got to make a living somehow, but at least work to make it somewut related to showbizness, so you can get something out of it. ;p

Showbiz is so hard though; SC8 werent a huge band so they only have a small advantage over people who havent done any thing in Showbiz particularly as idream ruined any chance of them all remaining in the industry. Though I do agree with all that Rochelle has been doing lately Im a little surprised she is did this.

With her looks Rochelle must be able to get back on tv or something, what happened to her on that programme in the mornings. Was she fired or did she leave?

JTP1708
20th Mar 2007, 03:47
^SMILE? Didn't she quit?

dreaminsimi
20th Mar 2007, 12:04
Well no one really knows what happened as to why she finished doing Smile but I think it is more likely that she quit!

Why did idream ruin their chances? I listened to the album again and apart from a lull half way through, with 2 or 3 dodgey tracks, it's very strong.:p
And the TV programs I caught were very good too.
Maybe she was handing out leaflets to do a frend a favour, rather than desperate for work.

^I Dream's music was literally like a step back for them maturity-wise. They introduced more mature lyrics in "Sundown," which was characterized by their them growing up, then went back to songs that sound as if they were produced for children at the age of 12 or rather their "Together" album. "Our Life" was really the only standout track for me and that was sung by only girls. = X

Exactly. The album was too pick N mixed rather than a subtle blend of genres. Our Life and Dont Steal Our Sunshine were the only decent tracks. Alot of the tracks sound the same.
They try to tackle issues of the environment and peace etc in Dont Steal... and Dreaming but for me personally they dont quite cut it.

I'd like to know who sung what on Avalon Heights. I know Frankie and Calvin did Dreaming and DSOS and Natalie did Waste your time on me, otherwise I don't know.
I don't know why everyone has such a low opinion of idream, I think they were absolutely brilliant, and a continuation of S Club 8.

dreaminsimi

SC8 were meant to become more mature with each album/single released. iDream was more babyish than S Club Juniors. They were waay better as S Club 8/juniors.

i noticed that the weirdo who used to hang round here, 'steve w', left a message on rochelle's myspace a few weeks ago, reminding her of this.

i hope that she didn't reply... and good on her to recognise that it was nothing to be ashamed of.

although at the time i'm fairly sure that i was sermonising about how they should all get proper jobs & shouldn't be wasting their lives away doing crappy part time jobs whilst chasing the dream etc. looks like i might have been wrong in the case of rochelle & frankie.

LOL omg Steve W- he was um strange :twitch: , oh yeah I remember going into long rambling posts how I dont think any of them are very likely to have any success again - oops! :lol2: And handing out leaflets etc definitely isnt something to be ashamed of.:)

i don't want to say too much about him because he [genuinely] scares me, but i just noticed that he's continuing to pester frankie on myspace. i felt a slight twinge of sympathy, though, to see him being ganged up on by a pack of self-righteous little kiddies on the official saturdays forum.
