S Club 8 splitting up is a total OBSCENITY, considering their back catalogue of superb songs. I have been dealt with a warning for making a Two Ronnies style joke,

lol, I was about to say the same thing! Up to the last line, it seemed all viable. Let's hope the recording career is true though. I could see her in the R&B/pop genre like JoJo or something. ;)

my friend lives in blackpool who knows her.Stacey does want a deal, i just dont think she has been offered one up to now. As far as i know shes not happy in blackpool back to reality, she always looks bored when she sees her and is very shy and has little to say. she even had a xmas temp job at the body shop. she does have a new boyf ben though who is really nice and good looking.
lets hope it all works out for her!

Glad she's doing well, went to school with her....no thats no lie went to Royals Brook. To be honest not seen her since then, but glad to hear she's doing well. She was a good singer when i heard her at primary school, never listened to out from S Club 8 or that i remember anyway ;) , but hope she gets a deal she had talent when i last heard at, that being in a school play, i think Christmas...can't remember memories a bit faded from that era :lol2:

And to be honest i live in Blackpool and it is a bit of a bore at times.

Blackpool shuts in November and re-opens around now, I've been there loads of times doing karaoke and the Pleasure Beach
Going again after seeing From Above at Preston.
If I could be bothered, that is.
SCJ shouldn't go solo, they should re-form with a massive back catalogue of top material then at their disposal.

Right now SC8s music is more likely to flop, cos everyone who wants it has got it and it isnt the music that is popular right now. Maybe later but :erm: doubt it.

Absolutely true. Pop music isn't popular in the British market these days, only highly popular acts like Girls Aloud and Avril Lavigne can get a decent chart position with pop music. It's all about the rnb/hip-hop and dance music at the moment, even rock music isn't getting as much of a look-in as it did last year as far as the singles charts is concerned.

Personally i feel she could go solo. She's good looking, she's a good singer, and in a shallow sense she ticks the two boxes that Simon Cowell would look at.

As for a group reform it wouldn't work. They weren't huge to begin with. As Take That reforming they were huge therefore people will buy their stuff. Say Spice Girls reformed they would sell. I'd even go as far as saying a S Club 7 reunion would sell some, but not huge. And i'd feel the same with S Club 8.

I feel Stacy has her best chance of a music career solo. As shes got the looks, the voice to do well.

They could get live gigs and be paid for them. Total unknowns do live gigs in places like, er, Blackpool !!
Girls Aloud are TOO popular. I went to see them at Wembley and I was sitting so far back I could hardly see a thing.

I dont think they go on forums because when they were in SC8 they were told not to go onto forums, chatrooms, disclosing email addresses etc because particularly back in the old days alot of haters used to prey on fan-forums and slag SC8 etc off. So I dont really see any reason why they would go on forums, when it isnt really going to acheive anything for them personally.
