Oh no - Sorta worrying that they said he's been admitted to neonatal! Hopefully everything will be fine and he'll be a happy and healthy little lad that they can take home.
Congratulations, Mummy Claire!

I've just realised that Charlie is an anagram of Claire if you add the letter H to the mix.:erm:
Anyhow, my thoughts and best wishes go out to the newbie mummy and her little one.

Charlie is an anagram of H (and) Claire.

13th May 2007, 18:47
Do you reckon that's why she chose the name? Or is it just a really strange (spooky) coincindence?
Is this a sign of things to come?
SeanieB
13th May 2007, 19:01
Seriously.. I highly doubt she'd pick her childs name based on a friends nickname and hers... surley if she was going to mix names... it'd be hers and reece's?
Truestepper
13th May 2007, 19:43
Reece could be his middle name.
Tho I'd say Claire probably hasn't even realised the Claire/H = Charlie thing.
Mixmaster - what do you mean by the sign of things to come?
Stepstar90
13th May 2007, 19:56
Anagrams were never on Claire's mind. She wanted a baby boy called Scott Lee.
Mixmaster
13th May 2007, 21:57
What I meant when I said "A sign of things to come" is this:
Charlie is an anagram of H and CLAIRE. It's a joint name, a union. Rather like the duet H and Claire. Remember how they still had that joint contract? And if H/Claire ever wanted to release anything they'd have to do it with the other? I was inclinign that perhaps there is the slightest chance of some form of mini-reunion of the duo, even if it is just one song.
Thought it was obvious!
And by the way: This is not - and I repeat NOT an invitation to begin arguaing with me!
I said it just for interest!
DON'T dwell on it!!!!

No despite what H said, H&Claire were DROPPED Claire has said so... I don't think she'd make that up... where as I'd much rather believe that H was lying... it'd make more sense

Dear god. Tho I can understand your point, first time mothers whos babies are ill often do have the time and head space to think of anagrams to imply something about their put to bed careers. Well spotted!

Congrats to Claire (& Reece) and welcome to the world Charlie. I seriously love the name Charlie and love the fact that it is an anagram of H & Claire, even though it was obviously coincidental.
Hope he is well enough to come home soon.
Clara you're gonna make a great Mummy!

hmmmm, it may not have been co-incidental I dont know. I mean H IS Claires best mate and Charlie was born on H's birthday. Its possible it was delibrate( tho id guess not likely) Its just the notion of it having anything to do with god damn Steps or H and Claire thats beyond rediculous!

H is also the first letter of Hill....*ponders* - is Claire really THAT clever tho to see that Claire + H = Charlie?
Water Goblinglitter
14th May 2007, 19:38
OR...it could be coz H is the first letter of Happy and she wants him to be happy always. or holy. or honourable.or hot. or homosexual. or a horse. You just never know these things!

So?
He's still Reece's son and Claire's engaged to Reece, therefor i ASSUME she plans on marrying him, and that she'll become Claire Hill, so I dont see why they'd call him 'richards' for x amount of months and have to change his name legally x months down the line

At the moment, claire still not maried!! when she get married and officially become Claire Hill, so that time her son will officially Charlie Hill.

PhllyBeef
20th Jun 2007, 16:14
Since the kid was born to Claire, I'm guessing they'll take on the name of Richards. Or they might get hyphenated names or whatnot... Though hyphenated names are going out of style.
Truestepper
20th Jun 2007, 18:22
The 'kid' as you put it was born to Claire AND Reece, he's not just Claires son! I say they'd give him the name Hill - even if they don't ever marry, its still likely he will be a Hill. Tho note, if Claire did change her name when she married Mark, she may actually still legally be a Webb - cos even tho shes divorced, her name doesn't automatically change back to her maiden name. She'd still have to go thro the process of a name change.
Truestepper

OUCH!!!!!!
Kermit
20th Jun 2007, 19:13
Its not really anything to do with culture over here - its simply the name they register on the birth certificate. I would imagine, as Claire and Reece are engaged to be married, that they would register him as Hill so as to avoid having to change it when they do marry.
Truestepper
20th Jun 2007, 19:21
She could call him 'Charie the son of Claire from Steps' if she really wanted too. Its too much hassle to go with Richards, get married and change it to Hill.
