Faye was on Edith Bowman's Radio 1 show on Thursday. The show was live from Southport.
"Edith said she had asked to visit a seaside town and Southport was chosen by the crew. She was looking forward to walking along the pier, visiting the arcades and eating candy floss and fish and chips, she said.
The crew visited the Hesketh Arms in Churchtown on Thursday morning where they were joined by Radio Lancashire presenter Ted Robbins and former Steps singer Faye Tozer.
Edith's show, broadcast between 1pm - 4pm featured students from KGV college talking about life in the resort and live interviews from the pier, Funland and the Promenade."
