After the news yesterday of Kelly dropping her management, now the tour gets shelved ..whats next the album ....

kellyclarkson.com :

"I can't tell you how much I've been looking forward to getting out there to perform for y'all. In the craziness of the music business, performing is what I look forward to doing the most, so it really is disappointing for me to have to tell you that I won't be coming out to tour this summer. The fact is that touring is just too much too soon.

But I promise you that we're going to get back out there as soon as is humanly possible to give you a show that will be even better.

Thanks for all of your love and continued support."

Its not really a surprise with her dropping her management, and i had heard that there were issues with the tour too, Kelly wanted to do theatres but management insisited on arenas. It may be a good thing tho as it will give her more of a chance to get out and promote the album everywhere she can rather than just to fans that will more than likely already have the album which she can do later. I think the tour was planned too soon they need to do all the album first before they started the tour stuff.

I agree, although she has to step up to the Arena's I think. She might not quite be there yet, as an Arena act, but even if its with the next album she needs to take her show up a notch.
All her 'rivals' do full scale Arena tours as standard these days, Kelly will need to step it up a bit and do one.

I do agree the tour was too soon, although if the album was released when it should have been - like in March/April, then the Arena's would have sold out.

I think the issue between her management and the label has hurt the tour, now the management are gone everything can be reassessed and got ready. I just want some European promo in July/August!
