Despite the lack of promo (well basically no promo), Kelly enters the UK charts in the Top10 at #9. This is a marked improvement over her previous two releases (Walk Away & Breakaway) which fell just short of the Top20.

Sales information (see below) puts Never Again a mear 500 copies away from a Top 6 placement, an extra 1,200 copies would have put her inside the Top4! If RCA had pushed the single more here with Promo it would have been fairly certain that Never Again would have gone Top 4, infact it might have done enough to go at least Top 3.

We hope the album has the same success in just over two weeks, although the lack of promo for that in the UK might see it suffer (sadly)

To be honest, I think this is a fair chart placing. I'm not a massive fan of the song and it is the most comercially accessible track so I am actually surprised it made the top ten. I do still love Kelly but am hoping for her to go back to songs with a bit more melody.

It could have done better if RCA sent her over here. Only 1,200 copies or so off #4 she would have got that if she did a few TV apperances here and there.

My concern is with the album with the lack of promo here, not even seen a TV advert yet - although that might be too soon - is that the album might struggle to go Top20. With the tour cancelled she now has July free, I would hope she comes over to Europe and do some promotional work
