on tonights eppisode charley was arguing with gerry and mentioned her best friend used to be in "s club juniors and now presents on tv" sounds like she was talking about rochelle.

cant imagine them to being best friends.

yes i saw that & was going to post.

she did at least imply that an ex-junior was a fairly good friend... she brought it up after being accused of having friends who were all wannabe glamour models or something.

charley, being such a fame-obsessed nitwit, couldn't bring herself to rebut this claim by listing examples of friends who had completely normal jobs, so instead provided an example of a friend who, whilst working in the media, is thoroughly non-sleazy.

and even the way she pronounced "s club juniors" [rather than "s club 8"] seemed quite telling...

there was something part loving/respectful about the way each syllable was enunciated, no doubt because of the impossibly high regard in which she holds anyone "famous"...

and also, or maybe i imagined this, there was something defensive there, as if to say, "look, i know that 's club juniors' weren't exactly destiny's child or nuffink but they was proper famous and how many people do YOU know who've been on top of the pops, etc?"

somehow when i saw the clip i kind of did believe that rochelle really is a friend of charley's.

the stuff about her "knowing" victoria beckham was obviously a nonsense - it's easy to recall the way in which VB wasn't prepared to sit or socialise with the other WAGs during world cup games over the summer at all, with cheryl tweedy/cole being the only one famous enough for her to hang out with, and these were the wives & girlfriends of full england players, some of them modestly famous in an OK magazine kind of way... the idea that she'd give the cousin of a man utd reserve [now sunderland] player the time of day is risible.

the stuff about "raving with" england footballers such as frank lampard & rio ferdinand made me a little sad really... i don't doubt that she has socialised with people of this sort at various times in the past but i'd imagine that they'd see her as a worthless tramp, sometimes useful to pass the time when more attractive groupies weren't available, but not someone who they'd ever consider as a genuine friend or girlfriend material.

but the rochelle thing, somehow the way it popped out struck me as genuine.

i am a little disappointed in rochelle. i ain't being funny or nuffink but charley really is the worst kind of scum.

Agree completely!
Rochelle seems to be edgying towards that "it-girl" lifestyle, while I have observed this purely on her aqaintances etc, it seems likely as I have noticed some of her photoshoots have become a bit more "risque".

Yeh I didn't doubt it for a minute, I've seen some pap pics of Dannielle Lloyd and Charley together, and being that Rochelle and her are close I can believe that Charley is a friend of Rochelles too.

Hmm shame, but each to their own, she could be a completely nice girl ..may just have Charley all wrong, okay thats a bit strong but I don't dislike her as much as I used to :crazy: ? wouldn't say I love her but still, she's growing on me lol.
