"Well just thoght id update my profile ive now left from above but wish them luck for the future. Though it has been a lot of fun with the experiences such as shooting the video and going on tour i felt it was time to move on to different ventures"

Well what can I say......The rumour mill is flying - Is From ABove splitting up? Whats happening with Daisy?? Kirsty leaving?? the list goes on.........p> To answer a few questions:
1. From ABove are going nowhere!!!
2. Yes the line-up is changing but this is due to a major opportunity which will put the band at the highest level, both sides of the pond!!
3. The band is in auditions this week. 12 girls are up for 5 spaces
4. The music is out of L.A. and VERY VERY cool! We are lucky to have some of the top songwriters and producers involved with this project!
Think Justin Timberlake/Britney/P.C.D
5. The songwriters have all written for the likes of Randy Crawford, George Benson, Mel C, Jameliah, So Solid Crew.............to name but a few
6. The final line-up will be revealed first week of November!

haha thanks. Yeah, I never type in all caps - but I'm getting ready for school so I wasn't exactly planning on retyping it to make it look pretty. =P
I'm happy Daisy's in it, but that Maria girl, if I'm right, is 30 now? The age difference is kind of ...
I wish them the best, and will still support them no matter what, but I just wish they had gone with girls more of Daisy's age.
TBH Lucinda was if anything the member who I thought was dragging the image of the band down a little bit.
Chelsey looks like a solid addition. Seyi sounds good on paper [although i have never heard of her]. Maria seems reasonable.
Good luck to them...
I hope that "make believe" hasn't been shelved altogether, i did really like it.
p.s. - if you paste text into MS Word, select all of it, hold down shift, and then press F3, it will change the case for you [i.e. go from caps to non-caps, etc].

I doubt the song will make a reappearance, but who knows, maybe they will rerecord it and change the sound to it. But I just got back from school and went on their profile firs tthing and saw that they added a short .... REALLY short clip of their first single, Hummer. I like it a lot so far. It is too short to completely judge, but I love the intro.
I think this sound will get them far. I hope it all works out for them.
I like Maria, but the age thing just got to me. Chelsey and Seyi I like so far, too. Especially Chelsey.

For the benefit of those wondering what's happening to songs like 'make believe', 'from the start' & 'temptation, they will be available on 'dancefloor ammunition' - published by 23rd precinct & nottinghill music. Due to the recent changes, the songs won't be part of the from above project, but bear productions continue to wish from above success for the future and indeed daisy is back in our studios tomorrow! Well I am glad that Daisy is in the band and that they are going in a positive direction. However I know this is going to sound harsh; but I dont think Lucinda is that talented a performer, there is quite an age gap between her and Daisy (not including Maria in this), her look doesnt seem like it would fit this new image they may be trying to portray. :unsure: I feel bad for Jerri-Lee for not making it into the band in particular as she seemed to have worked so hard on the group and she has suffered a loss in the form of her good friend's death, oh well least she has her law to fall back on if she doesnt want to continue with trying to make it it music etc.

I think Jerri will go solo. She's going to do some modeling, too I believe? I'm not sure on this at all, but I think she decided not to be in the group. I can see her sticking to techno type music, and that may have part as to why she's not in the group? I could be COMPLETELY incorrect, though.
I didn't think Lucinda would still be in the group, though. I like her voice, and I think she's hilarious so I'm pretty happy she's in it, but the age difference does bother me, so imagine how I'm feeling about Maria. Like them both, but I think it would have been better for the group if they went with younger girls. Oh well, I still think and hope they do amazing! I'm extremely excited for them!
