Calvin's Shirt in DTMYS

Is it my imagination or does Calvin's green shirt have holes on his right shoulder??? I sometimes think it's dandruff but I'm like noooo...dandruff aren't that big. And sometimes I don't think it's holes because his skin isn't showing through. The holes are white. And then I sometimes think it's his white shirt underneath but the way his green shirt is collared you would think the collar of his white shirt would show through but it doesn't!! Someone help me out here!

I think he has some kind of white t-shirt or something on underneath but your right it is pretty hard to tell!!
