I read on her solo biography for her minisite thing that she is recording an album and has been since 2006, does anyone know the truth and if this a rumour.

Lol since 2006! Who wrote that, this site? Faye WAS recording an album, actively probably until about 2004 but shes not to speak of now. Don't get me wrong, she does still record, she still has all her tracks and I dont think would ever rule a solo album out but to imply shes actively doing so and and that its a new thing is just pure fiction.

It does bug me that fansites are allowed to print whatever the hell they like.

Plus, I don't think Faye would consider she had a finished album. In fact im 99.9% sure she wouldnt.

its actually been 'being recorded' since 2002... but like carrie says, its not something shes activley working towards anymore... shes too busy doing other things...

and I dont think the industry would take her on to be brutally honest, I think faye would aggree...

theres no market really for solo steps albums... unless they're funding themselves like lee

She doesnt record soley to make money, she does it coz she enjoys it. Hence why she had her own studio. Its just like a hobby really I spose

I would love a Faye album to one day come out. I know the likeihood is minimal, but hey i can dream.

Its quite sad really that The Latch could be our last purchase from the Steps franchise. Hope they do a 2nd single

I know that feeling! Doing a performing arts degree means i do have to go to see alot of shows - but sometimes i can't afford it. I'm not going to panto this year - which i'm upset about cos i love going - but i just had to see Spice Girls in concert, so i saw that instead (was very good - nostalgia is where its at!)

Oh well, maybe one day we'll hear something from Faye, but for now i'm comforted by Secret Room, Any Minute Now, Someone Like You and Take Me Under + all the Faye steps vocals!

By the way, does anyone have Delta Goodrem's new album "Delta"? Cos there is a track called One Day and I swear the backing track is the same for Any Minute Now
