Well obviously it wouldn't beat BOMT - it sold around 420,000 copies in its first week, didn't it? Which also places it in the top five fastest selling singles in UK history (might not do now with Pop Idol etc, but it definitely was before), I doubt she'll ever beat that...
Am I also right that OIDIA only spent one week at the top?
I didnt know she was that far ahead! Such a massive gap between kylie!

It was indeed only 1 week.
I'd imagine Toxic could hang on, in fact, her UK chart runs have been fantastic from BOMT, she does seem to sell singles consistently throughout the life of the single in the top 40, as opposed to selling loads and then dropping fast.
