well they're only posted by users, so i wouldn't say they're THAT reliable.

also, madonna has done crap all promo - i doubt she'll get #8!! rachel has done a tonne of promo for funky dory, i really expected it to make top 10 and i really doubt it'll make #23, so i don't really believe them....

I'd like to see the people debating the truth of these midweeks come up with the "real" ones please.

Madonna is top 10 because she has a huge fanbase, possibly not enough this time around to keep the single top 10 by the actual chart, but enough first day sales. In fact, having written part of me Media coursework on Madonna I was quite surprised to find that in her ENTIRE recording outpt since 1983, she's only had 5 or 6 singles fail to go top 10, so that explains that.

Kelly & Ozzy at #1? Well what competition did they face really? Series 2 of The Osbournes is on Channel 4 at the moment and people aren't sick of the whole thing yet.

And as for Rachel, radio airplay for Sweet Dreams...is still huge, and lets face it, the rest of her album is filler material. She has nothing strong enough to come close to her debut and that is reflected in its placing.

I actually DO know the one who posted them quite well .. Sild! doesn't post something that is total **** .. Rachel @ 23 is totally unsurprising .. just look at the lyrics .. cringeworthy .. Madonna is not surprising .. fanbase is big enough .. she should end up at #10 or similar .. the osbournes are obviously #1 and will stay there due to Ozzy's crash ..
