Much like "Get It On", "Sunshine After The Rain" is a song by a dance group that simply features LSL on the vocals. Originally it surfaced months ago, but the plans to release it fell through. Now, according to what Lisa has said to her manager, the plans to release it are back on.

Sunshine After The Rain by Bel-Air ft. Lisa Scott-Lee has no release date yet, but Lisa's official forums will give more information as soon as it comes.

Hmm...I don't get it. Why is Lisa doing all this stuff that's just featuring her...is she just no longer planning on doing her OWN stuff or what. She could just be doing this to get herself out there and advertised before her own comeback....would make sense....your thoughts?

Could be that the record company are wanting to get her a bit more exposure before they release her stuff, or keep her in the public eye while she writes/records her own stuff. Maybe they want to test the water and see if people will by that type of music from her 'without it actually being hers' Who knows??? <_<

obviously this is to get her some exposure.

I personally think she was having trouble getting signed, and is doing this in the hope she will get a deal... like Sophie Ellis-Bextor did when she "featured"

I would have wanted it as her own track though... SHOULD be adding it to my Best Steps Song voting booth soon... IF more news of it is out... :P

I think this is best for Lisa at the moment, it will help establish her a bit. I mean, there's no risk of being dropped by a record label, no particular constraints... she isn't even forced to sing a song she doesn't like.

Lisa is doing it for exposure, to get her name out there before her actual comeback. This way, if the songs fail, it's not HER talent failing, it's the main artists. This way she will also probably have a better chance at getting a good lable, getting fans on board once she starts because they'll already know of her.

Basicly it's mass amounts of free promotion to keep her name out there which gives her a better place to re-launch herself from.

Question - Lisa is vocals on these songs, does this mean she wouldn't be aloud to perform them on her own PA's? Or can she sing them along with her actual songs?

She would be allowed, I think... Well, Riva's track that features Dannii appeared on her Neon nights album, so I don't think it'll be a prob for Lisa to perform.. :D

Maybe Lisa won't sign to a new label? Surely from an artists point of view, it's better to be able to release what you want, when you want without worrying about chart positions and getting dropped?

That has just made my day!!!

WOW.

And I love that song as well. Though I thought there was a cover of it a few months ago. Could be wrong though. I can't remember.

It would of most likely, infact definatly, would of bombed. It would of done a 'Another You, Another Me' and failed to make any sort of impact on the charts.

oh absolutely, from what i heard from the album, it sounded absolutely great. But i suppose it was better not to release it and not have the humiliation of a 'flop' album.
