Can the babes Break AMerica?

I've been wondering about this for a while and with all these other UK artists debuting in America do you think they stand a chance? Hole in the head barely cracked the hot 100 on the charts but it went # 1 on the dance charts...what are your thoughts?

obviously they cant. Hole IN the head was over here in March/April.. its now september. They havent even got on TRL or even on the Radio

Actually they got to number 24 on the radio Airplay charts. And just because they havent appeared on TRL doesnt mean a thing... Mis-teeq was on TRL a few times and their album flopped.

I think they can definitely make it, if they actually come here and do lots of promo stuff.
BTW, JJkk, Atomic Kitten's music is less likely to be big in America, because the US is big on the urban and pop-rock or rock at the moment. Barely any pop in the charts...

honestly,i dont think they can.
i've heard somewhere(sorry if it's wrong)americans are kinda not so friendly with foreign artists,i mean,it's like the music industry or the market that knida thing--they only support their own artists.
my friend once went to the us,and she said the ppl she met were surprised when they heard she listened to european artists.
well,so i'm afraid the babes cant really make it big.

the ppl ive told about the sugababes like them... i live in NY... so who knows? hole in the head went to #1 on the dance charts and it was played on a channel called MTV hits quite often.

i'm american and i only really like european artists. :ph34r: i hate american artists, for the exception of just a few. plus i think right now it's really hard for european artists to actually make it big here when the main interest right now is on rap/r&b, which sucks.

I have to agree with you on everything except R&B sucking...lol :P

When i first made this thread I really had hope for the girls. but seeing as how they aren't even realeasing the second single any time soon i really doubt they can make it..the fact of the matter is that the only pop thats big right here is crap like Britney spears and Ashlee simpson.
