As most of yous will know Boys-4-Calvin was due to open a mini site this week but its now NOT happening
The team behind the project have now decided to ONLY work with the advanced main site which is due to open 1st November 2004 , The name of the site is also being looked at so watch this space
More news will be along v.soon!!! :)

Its a major new site due to open soon and is gonna have alot of promo and stuff surrounding it
Its set to be a big hit hopefully

no this is not just a site made by me
There is a site of around 10 people working on it , its a serious project that aims to have ATLEAST 200 members by xmas , Their will be promo everywhere and we have even been intouch with 19 Management

Lol, what exactly do you mean by "there will be promo everywhere"? Because, rationally, you can only 'promote' the site on forums and through SC8 related, un-official sites. 2 other questions: 1) How old are you? and 2) What do you mean by "we've been in contact with 19 management (what have you been in contact with them for???).

Never the less it is a dumb idea. :sleep: and anyone can have contact w/ 19 i could call them right now. That doesnt mean anything all it means is you've had contact w/ the secutary, Congradulations :wacko: and you wont have over 200 members by x-mas if you open Nov. 1 and if you've had such "Accomplished" sites why dont you provide links?

We have been in touch with 19 to see if they will support this project and they are looking into it
I myself ran www.charlionline.tk which is nolonger online as it was thought they had split until they returned this month under the new name Ellements
I also ran a tymes 4 website which won an internet award for its high standard but since then it has also closed as the band split
Well, Again you have not shown us any proof you've ran "Popular" sites. I can garntee you that 19 will not call you back- It would be digrading towards Calvin himself so 19 wont endorse it. So it's useless-

Well i understand that- But, i know from expericance that you can't make your expectations so high, They think they'll be the "Biggest" site -- Being a big site takes years of expericance. Witch i know from expericance

boys4calvin: im kinda tired of seeing your love for boys for calvin all over gensteps. I mean that stuff is just kinda :x for us Non Gay people on here. We do know you have those desires but that doesnt mean everyone else, including the gay members of gensteps do. 19 Will Not have your support (I guarentee that). if anything they will frown upon it. They are not promoting homosexuals. (except for will young) I do know if calvin did find out, he wouldnt be that happy knowing that people (males) are getting off to him and prob. would talk to 19 asking for a closure of that site (that is what happened to S Club 7 Uncensored, a Pornographic website involving faked pictures of the members of sc7 nude or at least thats what some1 told me)

I dont' think you should totally catagorise and bracket all gay fans of Calvin as being creepy and leary. Every popstar no matter what their sexual tendencies have a gay fanbase. Look at Madonna, and Kylie. Gay fans of Calvin and Indeed Sclub8 have just the same right as any group of fans to be acknowledged and respected for their support that they give to the group. Especially when they are buying the merchandise and records like every other No1 fan is doing. :blink:
There will always be a bad apple in the barrel, there always is. However Calvin is much as likely to be stalked by a self-obsessed female fan, than he his by a gay one.
I agree there should be a fanbase for Gay fans of every group. But he thinks that people will just flock over to his site like it's something special. In all actuality it is just a normal fan site. Then he thinks he'll get 19 to back it up. Then he posts it in just about EVERY forum. I would have stopped posting by now but i love S Club 8 Station and i wanna support it. But i just want him to know not to get his expectations up because it will more then likely flop. I'd be amazed if he had 50 members by Christmas- i'd die if he had 100 but there is NO way he'd have 200

Unfortunately, a bulletin board is not covered by freedom of speech laws - a forum is effectively like a private venue where the owner is perfectly able to tell you what you are, and are not, allowed to say/do.

I'm not quite sure why so many are offended by 'boys4calvin's choice to make a Calvin fansite - there are certainly plenty of them out there. As for why he's building expectations... well, any marketing theorist will tell you it's the best way to generate interest in a product or service.
Anyway, this has become totally silly. This area of the forum is for promoting websites, not for debating potential audiences - if you don't like this thread, go post in another one. Flaming won't get us anywhere.
