Mutya Buena of the Sugababes is pregnant is with her first child.
The Daily Mirror reports that the 19-year-old singer is expecting the baby with a secret boyfriend ’known only as Jay’. The child is due in April.
Speaking to the newspaper, Buena said she was "delighted".
She added: "I'm so happy and am really looking forward to having my baby."
Mutya - who sings on the new Band Aid track with bandmates Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range - is planning to take time off to look after the new baby.
But she insists she will not be quitting the girl group.
She said: "I'll take a couple of months off when the baby is born but I'll be back in June to promote the fourth Sugababes album, which we're working on now."
However, the news is almost certain to fuel rumours that the group's future is in doubt.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the trio were keen to have break from eachother.
A source said at the time: "It's always been fiery between the girls and that's part of their charm. They're all sick of fighting now and they'll do their own thing soon."
