Get It On by Intenso Project ft Lisa Scott Lee is Out Now across the UK.

CD:
1. Get It On [Radio Edit]
2. Get It On [Original Club Mix]
3. Get It On [DJ Bomba & Paulo Remix]
4. Get It On [Video]
12":
1. Get It On [Original Club Mix]
2. Get It On [DJ Bomba & Paulo Remix]
Buy CD From HMV.co.uk (http://www1.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=340461)
Buy 12" From HMV.co.uk (http://www1.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=340462)
The single hasnt had as much promotion as we could of hoped, however it has had good play on most Video Channels and is one of the biggest club tunes of the year.
It has a 'OK' chance of making the Top 10, however, for that to happen, we need you to BUY BUY BUY. If you are outside the UK, and are buying it online, try to buy it from HMV.co.uk as it counts towards the UK Chart.
People in the UK, if you can, try and buy it from Virgin or HMV, as those are one of the 2 main stores that count to the Charts.
UPDATE 24/11/04: MIDWEEKS
Sales from Sunday-Tuesday, see Get It On nowhere to be seen. I have the mid-weeks positions for the Top 20 and they are not in there. I can only assume that they are between 21-30, however, i have a feeling it could be even worse than this.
01 Girls Aloud - I'll Stand By You
02 Lemar - If There's Any Justice
03 Geri Halliwell - Ride It
04 Destiny's Child - Lose Your Breath
05 Eminem - Just Lose It
06 Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For
07 Nelly ft. Christina Aguilera - Tilt Ya Head Back
08 Brian McFadden - Irish Son
09 Jojo ft. Bow Wow - Baby It's You
10 Shania Twain - Party For Two
*bold indicates new entries
New Entries 14- 20
14 Status Quo - Thinking Of You
16 Keane- This Is The last Time
17 Uniting Nations - Out Of Touch
19 Thunder - I Love You More Than Rock 'N' Roll
The album Charts arent looking good either, despite hype for the release, Kylie is at Number #4 and Delta is at a shocking #22.
I urge anyone who hasnt got 'Get It On' yet, to do so ASAP. If this does chart as badly as it is looking to, Lisa could be in serious trouble for future releases.
UPDATE 25/11/04: MIDWEEKS
Get It On is at #23, according to mid-week sales from Sunday-Wednesday. Although this low position was expected, it is still a shame, however, MOS may realise you need to promote a record for it to do well. If you still havent got your copy yet, make sure you do so ASAP!

I think the main point is just to buy it from the main stores, as many people buying as many copies as possible. Sorry scottie about posting that post on the main forum. I am quite new to posting and I didn't realise. Forgive me?
Anyway very excited about the release and I hope to see it flying high next Sunday!!!. I hope to talk to a few of you on here as well, I am new so it would be great to know who's who in the world of Gensteps!!!
Speak soon,

Just got back from getting me LSL goodies and I hadn't heard the Radio Edit before today. I was suprised at how short it was (2:46 I believe). Anyway not complaining, after all its good that we have got stuff released from ex Steps members.
I think the song is catchy, I just hope that many others out there think it too.
HAPPIEGOLUCKIE, I have kept the receipts from HMV, I hope that your master plan goes well but how long shall I keep them for???? hehe, I'll pin it up on my notice board.
Anyway speak to you all soon,

pretty much like many a post on lsl!
Remember people, multi buying won't work!
Quazar
22nd Nov 2004, 21:58
this goes for ANY CD's, not just Lisa's
Multiple buying only counts as one sale even if you buy different versions.
If you do buy more than one copy, buy them singly.
Codes are sent Electronically from Tills so always make sure the sale is registered by getting a reciept.

I didn't find it to be that strong of a track anyway. I do blame it some on promo, but overall I wasn't expecting it to do well anyway. Maybe it will atelast get top 20.

LOL, you must be joking? Do you honestly know anything about the UK Chart???
There is no way in hell it is all-of-a-sudden, going to rise from 22 to 11 in a matter of 2 days!
Tesco Chart and Woolworth chart mean bugger all, its just what they think the chart will be like.

with sales of cd singles as low as they are these days, it IS highly possible to generate enough sales in 2 days to totaly change the outlook.
but although highly possible, its also highly improbable unless theres been some mass publicity surge or vast increase in the artists fanbase.
