actually, you might be suprised. Dance music is fairly popular out here at the moment, and if it gets steady video play and a bit of radio airplay, it may do well.

Looking at the Top 50 Club Chart, there is atleast 25 songs that are or were in the Aria Top 30.

I have a feeling it may do well....

funnily enuf, as sooned as i turned on the tv after posting this, Get it on was on Club V, all i saw was from the dance sequence, it's weird, mit doesn't have the lip licking (Like the boring one ) but it has the lisa bum shake in all it's glory!

PS it comes up as Intenso Project/LSL instead of Intenso Project Feat Lisa Scott-Lee, i know i'm sharing every detail but all us aussie fans have been waiting 4 this 4 yonks

I've sent an email to Big Records (the company that is releasing it here) regarding promotion , and i've been told that they're asking people from the head office about it, hope fully i'll get an answer, before sunday (which i highly doubt) because i'mgoing on holiday but hopefully we'll know soon

Club V are playing the video non stop. I saw it twice today on First Bounce and i also saw it yesterday atleast 3 times. They are also over-playing The Weekend by Michael Gray aswell....

Get It On was the 3rd most added song to aussie radio last week. I have heard it quite a few times on Nova, so it looks like it has been added to the whole Nova and Austero network, which is fantastic.

Its also being played heaps on Club V and i have also seen it on Channel V.

Seems it may do well after all :D

hey, i'm in surfers and last night the played the full version 90.9, n wen i went to bthe airport they played it on 100.3, this is very exciting for a non record-company track, but sincen it's coming out on sanity (which doesn't count towards the chart) and hmv are ignoring it, it does worry me

Umm, HMV aren't ignoring it, she is signed to MoS, and they release lots of MoS tracks.. Sanity does count toward the charts, ( http://www.aria.com.au/pages/arianet-chart-stores-qld.htm )..

Lol we got the BIGGEST shock the other night...We went out for dinner here on the Gold Coast and as we were driving up onto the highway there was this tavern on the corner and absolutely blaring out of it was ofcourse Get It On...I was like OMG and nearly crashed :lol: Was just so shocked that a tavern was playing it soo loud.

Plus i saw it 4 times on Club [V] on NYE. 2 of them were less then an hour apart lol..

this is great, maybe if this does well, likes get top 20 or sumthing and becomes a small hit down here, maybe a record company will buy the rights to Lately and Too Far Gone.... I think they'd do quite well down here if promoted correctly.

Thats all they can do. Out here, Radio and TV are the 2 biggest promotional tools for songs being released over and its getting promo on both of them. Its also getting played in Clubs, so there really isnt much more they can do.

Seeing as the 19th is a Wednesday, LOL, i think the people at Big Records are still slightly hung over from christmas. Its official date is the 24th, as both HMV and Sanity confirm on there websites and the official site also clarifys it. :)

Well its not really her song, as its titled 'Intenso Project ft. Lisa Scott Lee'. Although V and Club V name it 'Intenso Project/LSL'.

That gives her a good platform out here though - it means people wont relate to her as Lisa from that annoying pop band Steps.

Still got 2 weeks to go, so that means another 2 weeks of more radio play and video play. Although, as much as i have seen it on Club V 10000 times....im yet to see it on Video Hits, So Fresh, Rage (apart from the 1 time it was on at like 3am). Those are the 3 main key shows that will give it that extra push.

I do however, have a feeling it will go Top 20 - atleast :)

Get it on officially debuted at number 56 this week, in the midweeks, it's fallen from 20 to 39, so it probably won't chart top 50 at all, but for those with club v, watch club v 40 2nite 2 see how GIO's doing
