Shortly after, rumours started that they has been dropped from their record label. In 2003, Claire married Steps dancer Mark Webb. H&Claire confirmed they had split and Claire is working on solo material.

When and where was this confirmed?

well i think its quite official....if u think that there is an official sites both for h and claire....and the official h&C site is not online anymore

well theyre not H and Claire anymore - so yes theyve split.
H has confirmed it by sayin hes finished with music (at least for now) - and Claire's confirmed it by sayin shes goin solo.... so yeh it is official. Altho a "proper" announcement aint been made yet - but then again - it mite not be made atall seeing as every1 knows theyre not a duo anymore and havnt really been since December last year...

I cant wait to hear some solo Claire stuff :D

H and Claire have always bin my faves since da start of steps, and i was really happy wen they became a duo. now dat they've split i can't wait 2 hear claire's new stuf and wotever h does

Claire told coco that she was gettin back to work on her own once shes back from miami sometime in Janaury....

starting with finding new managment! ;)

the wedding pics on HnC.com weren't seen by Claire and she didnt know they had gone up... tsk tsk!

It makes you wonder... the website said "Claire has let us use these pictures" but she knew nothing about the pictures, and they were removed when she told BB off... they also had a "Wedding report BY H..." that disappeared too. Do you think BB wrote it? After all, they are full of rubbish really!

...and if BB did write that report without asking H, that could mean that he *did* have a hissy fit... lol. I guess we'll never know.

Let's hope that the new management are a little more honest.

well from what I understand Claire did want pics to go on the site... tho she never had time to pick them or sumthing.

I assume whilst on honeymoon she rang home and someone told her that the wedding pics were on the website and she was like... huh i havnt picked the pics yet...

The H thing I reckon could have be instigated by H, as Tim is his BF and tim would have got it put on the site... tho they probably took it down aswell as the pics as Claire hadn't approved the information that H and BB had given out to the public.


Im not suprised she left them... she clearly couldnt trust them. Though i think she left BB for more than that.... a new start to a new career...

oh yeh - i would probably say that H DID write that thing he put up - simply cos he wouldnt want to cos a big rift with the fans and start up the old Steps arguments yet again and obv he'd look bad so thats why he did that pronto.
But wen BB took the pics down they probz just thought - lets just take ALL the wedding stuff down cos Clara's p*ssed off!

In the end im quite glad BB did just go ahead and put em up cos a) well we got to see them didnt we? and we probz would only hav got like one if Clara was picken them out herself and b ) it probz helped along her decision to leave them....

Awwww leave poor Yawnie.....erm sorry i mean Seanie alone! He comes out with the same cack because he loves Mrs Webb and hates Mr Watkins. The Tim/H thing is an old,old rumour and one thats always being thrown up in convo,im surprised its not been noticed before! I for one use it rather a lot (bit too much, me thinks im obsessed lol!)
Claire is right to ditch BB, i mean if she cant trust her management in personal things like wedding pics, i dout she would be able to trust them work wise. Shes been with them for years so its time for a change. Just a shame BB dont have any working ppl on their books at the mo.....and its just B now right??!! :rolleyes:
