What would you want it to be?

It was on the release schedules as Another You Another Me / All I Want Is You

I would have liked to have any of the following:
Another You Another Me
All I Want Is You

Nothing At All - as long as they went with my video idea *cages and chains - very S&M*

Nothing at all. Without a doubt my favourite song on that album.

For the video I imagine like the American outback/deserts at dusk with long roads through the middle of nowhere and a little lonely motel, with Claire inside crying out for her lover, whilst H rides across the deserts on the back of a train and they rush onto a desolate grand canyon style setting to meet each other at the top of the cliff and embrace.

There You Were/Nothing At All or Invincible/There You Were!!!

Lovely :)

the cliff-top embrace sounds a bit naff. I prefer my s&m idea. Cages and chains - lovvelly. The song is quite dark, so I think a dark video is the best way! *is actually a perv*

I heard that H&Claire were all set to release 'There You Were' in November 2003 - but it fell through.

IMO Nothing at all should have been the 4th release... with Too Close to tears / AYAM as the 5th and final off the album

Your idea reminds me too much of Deeper Shade Of Blue. The song already sounds like Deeper Shade Of Blue, it doesn't need a video like it (in my opinion)

I would have wanted Centre Of My Heart/All I Want Is You.

Listening to the album i had a picture of a video for each song in my head, the only album that i have ever been able to do that with. Shame they didn't release another single :(

You know the opening to 'All out of love' with the cars? That's sort of how I imagined the opening to a potential video to 'Nothing at all', but in the desert at dusk, and an open top car.

No bondage in my idea sadly. :D

i think Nothing at All would have definitely would've been a GREAT single since its a very upbeat ballad and would have many great remixes available

If it was to be a double A side I would liked it to have been Nothing at all/All I want is you, both songs sound great and as though they tell a story together like here and know and you'll be sorry. If it was to be a stand alone track I would choose You're a love song, beautifull song with endless possabilities for a video. ^_^

Nothing At All should have been released! That song could have been a world-wide hit!

Its like Nothing At All is STEPS-Paradise Lost! The fact hat the best song they've ever done is never released!

Na.. To Close To Tears was a clear album track. It's a great track, don't get me wrong but how would you promote it. I can't imagine it gettin playd in any clubs, and it wouldn't get hardly any airplay. The only thing this track had going for it was the speculation of was it written about the Steps split. Can imagine the Video now.... sigh
