What does it mean to be 16 in the UK? Cuz everyone talks about waiting til the clubbers are 16 to do stuff! But in the US the only thing you can do at 16 is drive! So is 16 like 18, and she can do stuff like smoke and live by herself if she choose? And vote as well, I guess. Could she drink too cuz that's 21 here.

In the UK 16 is the legal age of sexual concent, plus we can smoke too. can't legally drink alcohol till 18 or drive till 17 though.

Hmm, I find that 16 is too young for "sex." Some of their bodies are still developing and... Ick, just the thought of it. Here in Canada, we can move out and live alone when we're 15, can't sign until we're 18, and we can't legally smoke or drink until we're 21. However, alot of kids do it anyway... <_< It's the "thing" in high school.

Sorry to go off topic again but I don't want ppl thinking Canadians are potheads..no, marijuana is not legal in Canada...only for medical reasons..seems it can dull certain types of chronic pain.
