Good for her. It's quite a brave decision by the record company to take this album to America on the back of one single. She'll struggle to follow it up if it's even only minorly successful because there just isn't anything stand-out from the rest of the album.

The majority, if not all, UK artists popular in America at the moment are acts that write their own songs, sing live, etc. So I think she'll struggle, but you never know.

Why she is going to America now is because of the sucess she had in S Club.

My main concern is her live performing. We do expect live vocals... Rather, we take them for granted. Otherwise, I'll promote her stuff, buy her album; hardcore Rachel!

exactly - i think the pressure is on to sing live or do an impressive dance routine, not mime and potter around the stage, which is what she does in the UK. it'd do much more for her if she managed to get out a few good live performances rather than miming with a dodgy dance routine.

Yea, that miming crap isn't very well tolerated on US tv. It would be interesting to see if she does any good here. I'll buy the album prob. It just seems kinda unlikely that she'd have a go a things here so soon. I would think that she'd want to establish herself in the UK first. Know what I mean?

Westlife, Kylie, and Atomic Kitten all sang live when they came here. Even S Club did. Rachel probably will too.
