just 2 other thingf i picked up from smile and resulting thoughts.
1: when asked about how she does exams said she is home tutored and does exams
with every one else. so with others supposed to be back at school dont know who would pick up tab BBC or still 19
2) on vid diary it showed how they prepare for show. fri run through script , sat rehearse,
sun anything not done sat do before show then do show. this is my resulting thoughts/ opinion and only that. o.k dont know how time consuming fri & sat are but it would be pretty difficult to keep up with sc8 commitments e.g totp/cduk or any other stuff and traveling to & from would be pretty hard on her. so if i was smile producer knowing fern & reg were leaving would i go to all the trouble of auditioning replacements picking rochelle training her knowing fullwell that in six months i will have to do it again to replace her temp or perm depending on how long she will need off plus she would get holiday leave which would prob be part taken in summer so that would be quite a bit of time off in a short period of time. so it wouldnt suprise me that if when she became aware of the smile job she may have noted that fern who started presenting at 15/16 on digging it is now 5/6 years later is earning a lot more than she has or realistically hope to earn with sc8 and their contracts with 19 not being the worst but defo not the best and no writing royalties what they do earn they split by 8.
which as a 13/14/ dont need to think about the future is good but as some one who is about to be 16 and has had 3 years of experience and learning the biz a bit better and prob got her future more in her mind she may have actually decided that this (t.v) is her best option/ foot on the ladder for her future/career.
so like i said thats just MY thoughts outloud.
and if this is the case i say fair played to her and good luck because i think she is really good presenter and her personality comes off well and shes allways smilling on a show called smile which is nice as doubt very much its a forced smile.
also this doesnt meen the end of sc8 just maybe sc8 with rochelle or it could mean the time youve taken to read this have been wasted because i'm thinking to much into it i dunno.???
also miqiuta oliver started popworld when she was 16 and 4yrs on she prob got a decent pay slip. plus back to fern right know with the shows that shes doing shes prob better off
or in the same position as sclub7 were when they split up and they had shows that were
shown in 110 diferent countries plus decent sales and 1 less member to split their money
with than sc8. maybe just proves if you sign a contract you better make sure it says you can get the oppertunity to wright youre songs or some of them at least.
