Its difficult to say for sure,the before frames are a bit blurry when captured in PowerDVD and you cant make anything out and the later ones dont add any info either.
It certainly seems to be directed at Calvin when you view the vid in full.

i think they smile and kinda laugh at each other as encouragement. i think it helps them perform better when they know that there's someone who'll be there to encourage them.

Yeah, I think so, too.

I just think they're happy to be performing onstage with each other. I'm sure it's a very fun experience to perform in front of a crowd who enjoys your music.
