That isn't far! Hannah has lots of talent! Her and Calvin work really hard because they're not one of the greatest dancers in the band! Anyways, I just think it's not far with the way she never sings or gets any kind of attention.

I never said it was my decision for who gets solos.... All I'm saying is that it's always the same people with solos....

That's actually not true. Hannah doesn't have any solos at all but i think she has more fans than Stacey and Rochelle. She along with Daisy and Frankie are the girls that get noticed the most...

And its realy not our decision on who gets the solos. The producers pick em, but if it was up to me i'd at least give the girl a chance <_<
I think Stacey is more popular then Hannah, but I don't know. It's kinda amazing Hannah has any fans at all though, since she isn't labeled a superlative in the band-besides cutest.

People seem to notice Hannah more because of the fact that she doesn't get any solos. But ya gotta wonder tho... if they threw out the rule book and deiced to let her in the band (Along with Aaron.. but he has been given solos) why hasn't she been given a solo. I mean she has to be good since she did beat Thousands of kids :erm:

There's no doubt in my mind that there were many kids more talented then SC8 that were turned away from the group, for various reasons, like perhaps they were too showy or too into themselves and not the band...19 does not always go for the most talented, the Spice Girls were supposed to be a group of average girls with average voices so people could relate. When the clubbers reply in interviews and say they were surprised they got in I wonder if they know that yes many of those ppl were honestly better them but got turned away cuz it wasn't what 19 was looking for. I mean that said SC8 is still talented, probably more talented then at least 80% of the ppl that showed up, but there isn't a doubt in my mind that 19 could of compiled a better group had they of wanted too. Heck, if they were looking for the best and only the best, not only would Aaron and Hannah be out but probably Calvin too because of his dancing...they probably wanted a white guy in the band too though lol.

you know, people say that, but I have listened to that track a million times and just can't pinpoint it. She has a solo part on We Got You, but thats the rappy song and the only actual singing that you can hear is done by Stacey.

Doesn't she sing that 'I just want it all, baby, ohhhh, baby baby... Searching For Perfection let me tell you I just want it all'.... in Searching For Perfection? Because I was reading the lyrics and it said she sang.... Some lyric sites say she sings it, some say daisy does.

it is in no way fair...its just another reason why I hate 19

it would hurt them to let hannah sing...even if itwas on the albums not the singles...
she hasnt got the strongest voice...but its sweet and soft and along with music would sound beautiful

then theres always that thing saying she might not have wanted a solo...I say that she obviously does or she wouldnt want to be in the band anyways

she must feel left out ...or should I say felt...like in songs all the girls got to sing...and she didnt...that must have been hurtful

One of the reasons I love hannah :D ...she just accepts things and is so greatful she doesnt complain

she got in the band cause shes got the personality which is fun, determined and amazing :dance: ....and also cause they saw she had potential and that proved right when we saw howmuch her dancing got better...she still does have potential...she needs a chance to perform to her full potential...whether she'll get it or not...I dont know

well thats your opinion........... but hannah can sing, she has a soft and sweet voice...and doesnt get a chance to show it off...as for dancing.... she improved lots and shes a fab dancer now.......you obviosly cant see talent when it gets thrown at you

Hmm... if it's Hannah that's not getting the attention, then why do Jay, Rochelle and Stacey have lower thread and post counts (On GenSteps...) than Hannah? Sorry to point out the other Clubbers, but in this case really... I don't think it's the fact that Hannah isn't getting attention, it's the lack of equality that she recieves.

There's always been talk about, "When is Hannah getting her solo?" so people usually tend to watch out for new S Club 8 material, hoping to hear a bit of Hannah. Hannah fans and S Club 8 fans in general have always talked about that and in that case, she is getting attention from their fans is she not? I'm disappointed in their management that within the 3/4 years that S Club (Juniors) 8 have been together, that not a proper solo has been given to all of the members. Why hasn't she gotten a solo? Well, I wouldn't be the one to ask. The ones who are able to get a copy of "I Dream's" episode 7, charity record on their hands, the part where the "I Dream team" is trying to sell the singles and "Don't Steal Our Sunshine" in the background... Listen it carefully. That's Hannah's voice. And unfortunately, that's the closest we Hannah fanatics have gotten close to hearing a proper solo.

I think her voice is very sweet and soft... I'll admit, it's great for a harmonizing voice. But it's unfair how they haven't been able to let us S Club 8 fans see the true potiental that she has in terms of singing.

And the whole dancing thing... Hannah is not a dancer. I don't blame her though. Not everybody is a dancer. To be honest, a little bit of me is disappointed in her for not pushing herself a bit harder. At least she goes up on the performance stage and dances, but she could just have that drive in her eyes a little bit more. Her dancing has been consistent ever since she joined the S Club name. While the others has moved foward and gotten better at dancing (Calvin is a prime example. Rough in the beginning, but as he progresses he got much better than he first started.) Hannah's been at the norm for the most part. I don't know if it's the age thing, but I think that Hannah is still a young girl. I'm about Hannah's age, and I'm growing too into my own person to. I'm quite ambitious, and I know if I were given a chance in the spotlight, I would go to all means to be my personal best. I've been in the background, and it's a bit disappointing most of the time. I guess after 3/4 years of being in a band and not once have you been able to prove yourself to your fans, it would be quite a bit of a door slammer.

So if S Club 8 are going to come back after the summer, and their management gives Hannah a chance... I have no doubt in my mind that we'll see a massive growth in her. All that needs to happen is for their management to have some respect for Hannah. She may be young, but I think she's much smarter than what her age is. So yeah... If given the chance, I know she would prove all you haters wrong! :P But for now... I blame their sucky management! (I just realized how much I wrote, lol. ;))

because that's what sells records. These days, a lot of people don't care about how well someone can sing, it's all about how they look and how much attention they can bring in, mainly basing it on how well they appeal to the opposite sex.

Hasn't anyone thought though, that everyone except for Hannah has had a chance to sing and has been given solos......so maybe she doesn't actually want to sing solos. It's a possibility that she could have been offered solos but turned them down for her own personal reasons. No-one knows how it works with them, so maybe the management do co-operate with her and try to include her, maybe it's her that doesn't want to sing. Maybe she prefers to do backing and just chorus singing.

no offence to any1 but hannah can't even dance or sing!the only reason that she got into the band is bcoz at the time of the auditions she looked really cute and baby faced and she really suited the ''junior'' image.thats not sayin i don't like hannah,i'm just speakin the truth! :D

I have to say I think that there is some truth to that - Hannah did suit the cute "junior" image they probably were going for & that could of been a deciding factor in her being chosen for the band, but that does not take away from ANY talent that we know she has.

If you listen to OSC karoke - you can hear Hannah singing on her own....

what does -ve mean? anyways...... she gets attention off the stage.... i mean she gets good positions in the dances but not when it comes to vocals..... fans clearly give more attention to the clubbers who sing the most (Frankie, Calvin, Stacey and Daisy)

but of course that's going to be, the band were created to sing, so obviously those that actually sing quite a bit are going to get more attention.

Oh my god. What are your problems? You know, if you really didn't like Hannah you wouldn't even be on this area of the forum. It's not really her fault that her voice doesn't suite many songs! I've heard her sing alone on one of The Search episodes and it was great! I think that her voice is just more special and it's hard to find songs for her and everyone in the band to sing. I mean, when you've got 8+ people in a band, its not likely that everyone is going to have a voice that will suite every single song in the world!

And in Wherever You're Heart Beats, it says she sings in that aswell.

I'm so sorry! *goes embarassed* I didn't mean for it to sound like I was being rude or was going to explode! I'm really really sorry. I just wanted to say that I didn't get why everyone was doubting the fact that she was talented and could actually sing! I heard her singing when she was recording "One Step Closer" alone. I think she was singing the chorus, I don't have the video now because my comptuer crashed and I lost everything. And once again, I'm so sorry!

Normally in the performances and the song alone, Daisy's part, "I've been saving, every little bit of my love for you..." In the performance, you can see that Daisy and Hannah share a solo, however you barely hear Hannah as she's just the harmonizing background vocals for Daisy. The part is, "I'm so excited, fantasizing..."

There is no "Ooo" part in "TTLO". :P I think you mean "Searching For Perfection"? There's no real "Ooo" part in that either but... The songs are similar so, I thought you got them mixed up? And I don't think Hannah has much of anything in "TTLO". Lol, Idk... But in "SFP" Hannah has no real solo, but she does have background vocals here and there. You can barely hear her, but if you listen closely, you can pick up the soft tones in her voice.

After Frankie's opening solo: "Searching for perfection, lemme tell you I just want it all..."
In the middle of Stacey's solos: "No no..."
You'll have to listen really closely to the chorus to pick up Hannah's voice, but she's singing there. It's really hard to pick up because all you mostly hear is Frankie and Stacey's voice, lol.

And I don't know if it's Hannah, but during the last part of the song... I can't identify if it's Hannah or somebody else singing, "Want it all..." And in the next line it's Rochelle singing lead, but somebody is harmonizing with her, I just don't know who. And also Hannah does random "Ooo"'s and all that jazz through out the song. Hard to pick up as well. :erm:

i think hannah gets more attention than the other members in the band is because shes different. (don't take this in a rude way) she is always being compared to the other girls saying that say isn't as skinny (theres a topic right there) and that she doesnt sing(another topic that we're all talking about). well maybe she has been offered solos, maybe not, maybe she does feel leftout, maybe not. we don't know unless somebody talks to hannah and has proof of it. i think that hannah does have a sweet, soft voice and everybody else in the band is so overpowering that you can't hear her. i mean think about it, 7 strong voices against 1 sweet, soft one? the odds are against you if you want to hear her voice. what about OSC? where she sings with daisy? well daisy's voice was actually pretty strong and they blended well together.

ya she has to have talent to beat 10, 000 other kids..... plus u can actually hear her in Only You, Wherever Your Heart Beats and Don't Steal Our Sunshine.... she has such a sweet voice! i think to make up for the three (or four) years of no solos, she should go solo.....
