Righty the DTMYS video in nice HQ m2v is ready for download

BUT

We only have limited bandwidth for it.

Therefore I want people to post here if they want to download it and WILL share it to others on MSN or AIM.

For you to be able to download it from me you MUST post your MSN or AIM name and allow people to contact you.

I am only allowing 10 or so downloads of the video from me so you must share it if you say or - or upload it somewhere (its 90Mb though) and share it that way.

This is very important - yes its annoying to share it all the time but we cannot afford to allow everyone download it and kill our bandwidth and those who have generously offered bandwidth.

i can send it to people on AIM (not msn because its too slow and tends to fail). but how about each person sends it to 5 people and then those 5 people send it to another 5 people and so on?

Yeah thats the idea, I don't expect the same person to send it to 29435873 people LOL ;)

We need the SC8 community to start sharing properly cos there is no way that myself and a few other sites can carry the bandwidth for everyone!

Hi magicpatch, i got broadband too so i cud grab it and then provide it for sum days on my german server. i got 100MB of storage and cud share it for a while, until more ppl got it. also, surely, i cannot carry all the ppl's requests with my bandwith.

Just one worrying thing, I sent the URL to 2 people so far and its had 19 downloads ........

I cannot afford this sort of downloads, people will have to share otherwise I will have to stop doing this.

hi everyone!
i hav now got the vid since yesterday and i hav had time to upload it today. its on my server and u can get it by leavin me a PM (personal message) through the forum (for those who dont know, just click on my nickname and ull get to it).
it is set up for 10 ppl to download it so hurry up!
first 10 will get it and and will be admitting to share it. i might b able to giv it free for another 10 but first 10 and then mayb more. (due to low bandwith capacities, in these times we all dont hav much money and so nobody wants to giv more than required :P)

and a tip for those who want to share it: if you transfer it to anybody for 1 time it takes you quite a while cuz it is 88.6 MB and most only got cable so the upload speed is not vry high. just go to ur lycos tripod account (if u dont hav one, sign up 4 it, it offers 100MB of free file storage !) and then upload the file there...
this is a really easy and fast way to share it for more than just 1 person and everyone will b glad !!!!!!!!!

the file is about the same as dvd quality, 88.6 MB filesize and gr8 sound!
