So SC8 members, avoid this site like the plague but will go to some obsecure AJs site which has little to do with SC8, but won't come here despite many members working their backsides off in getting the group the most exposure as possible.

If that is truely the case, then .. well I won't say cos it won't be pretty, and it also speaks volumes (if it is the case) for some of the members attitudes here.

I doubt it. If you click the properties of the picture on the banner you get this link to this girls face party? I typed in her username and came across her site. Her names 'Lizzi' but is using picture of Daisy.

We work our asses of here, we have been since January 2004, for the best of SC8 but we get ZERO reward, as all the "members" go to other sites. We really love the payback we get for ALL the effort we put into things(!)

Really, I wished I had a time machine and go back and tell people like myself, Ant, Easty etc. and tell them not to bother cos we won't get rewarded, just issues from many members claiming "this and that" without offerning any sort of proof.

hate to be the english teacher but if you read that post then one of the other ''official'' ;) post's if you read them out it doesnt even sound like the same person. too much dat, mi, bak, den & so on

also the ''official daisy'' ;) went and posted those pics almost a month ago and was gonna take them down after a couple of days (because people stole them and put them on other site's) and she aint been back on since so why would she come on this new site all of a sudden and not go back on to take down her pics???.

also i'm biased? but if someone came on here and was credited as an official group member i would beleive it more because i know people like magicpatch & whois would want a lot of proof for them to be willing to let someone be known as an official group member. they wouldnt allow themselves to be taken for fools. (maybe why we havent had a so called member post here cos they know it would be a lot harder to dupe this forum's admin)

No NEVER feel guilty, geez, I'm not forcing people to stay, this isn't a dictactorship.

I sometimes go off on one, as I see the whole picture, this site isn't cheap to run, these forums cost $160 alone, but as you will all (hopefully) agree on, this is a hobby, its not a full time job, its somewhere to come and enjoy but for me its rather expensive .... and we really want to expand and thats just going to cost more etc.

What is uncalled for, both here, and to some extent T&T, although I don't go there, is the abuse, we wouldn't accept it here, so there is little need to do it elsewhere, fake or not.

I apologise, I shouldn't have got drawn into this "arguement" but it hits hard for me as the owner when I could possibily lose visitors - which I don't want to do - and I'm not going to either force members to post here or "fake" members to post here to create the illusion of the members. That isn't the GenSTEPS spirit.

As I said a lot of us here have been working our butts of for 15 months to get something from 19 over the future of SC8.

It hits hard sometimes .. but I do apologise.

Okay, I've made a decision, I'm closing this topic on the grounds of:

a. We don't have proof its her
b. Its an AJ's forum - why SC8 would bother is beyond me - and if they are then well ...
c. I've had an little outburst :lol:
d. Other people have had little outbursts :lol2:

I think "the case is closed ..." ;)
