Ego, at 20 sold 15.6K last week.

TV Airplay currently 9th down from 14th
Radio Airplay currently at 35 down for 31. Would have risen to 17th if it was not for Xmas songs.

Is that midweek correct? Since MW are on xmas holiday and there have been loads of fake midweeks floating around.

Top 20
N-Dubz
Saturdays
Alexandra Burke - Broken Heels
Michael Buble
Alex Burke's 'Broken Heels' has been above 'Ego' on iTunes all week, yet 'Ego' is ahead? Something dosen't quite tally up :/

That Mid is correct; I promise. My source is music week; it updated this morning. Broken Heels is 18th, Buble 20th and N-Dubz 16th with Jason Delora (Spelling) at 15.

Regards to Alexandra Burke I thought that was werid too and I bet by 2rw she will be ahead of them. My guess is the physical sales from HMVS that put the single on sale early plus The Sats are dominating Alexandra on Amazons download thing are pushing The Sats slightly ahead.

FFS at Ego slipping to 16 on itunes now

I think this will only just scrape the Top 10 imo. It's sliding on iTunes, from it's peak of #12 last week from all the promo. If this dosen't get promoted in the week of release, this wont go Top 10 at all. And the fact that HMV have already got the CD on sale now is worrying, since we need all the phyiscal sales for the week of release as our 'last ressort'.

I don't understand how 'Ego' looked so promising at first, with all the big-name mixers, and the tones of early promo, but know i'm not so sure.

You see, if this dosen't do as well as planned, that ain't gonna help the album at all, and I honestly don't know what will happen after this if 'Ego' dosen't do as well.

I dunno if there is any need to be so downbeat about next week . Hereare my reasonsto be upbeat.

1. It is Amazon and HMV's top selling pre-order single.
2. Increased Physical Sales
3. Radio Airplay has increased every week so far and with no xmas songs it should keep increasing.
4. TV Airplay has dipped due to Xmas Charts etc, but by the 3rd of Jan should be back to normalwith the video returning to the Top 10.
5. Chart has very low sales so the increase in physical sales plus people downloading all the remixes that will come out when combined should propel it higherin the combined chart.

6. It is only 29p on Amazon. They could really do with hammering that on the front page of thesaturdays.co.uk

Taking that into concideration makes it look a bit better, but I think the promotion will be the thing that 'kills' this single. It could quite easily go Top 5 with GMTV and Alan Titchmarsh, Loose Women etc.

I was looking for pre-order charts on Amazon earlyer and couldn't find it, but hearing it's #1 that's a good sign! They were putting it all over their Twitter's last night.

---

Up to #15 again on iTunes.
