Paperback Steps

Here in Perth Australia, I recently came accross a small paperback "The Steps Story" by Teresa Maughan in 1999.
It seems well written, from parts I have read.
I was quite pleased to find something else for my collection at a cd/book sale.
I guess it was well known when it came out?

Erm, I think I had it. I can't remember who the author was but I definitely had a paperback book. I guess it was as well known as anything else.

there is an interesting quote in the book.
Faye is quoted as saying "Lisa just walks into a room and blokes just stare.
It's this weird, magnetic, unexplained thing - blokes cannot help looking at her"
I have heard similar said on this site.
Mystery to me - this bloke would be looking at Claire and Faye first, as pretty as Lisa is.
Don't have the technology to post a scan of the book cover, sorry.

Ah I reconise that quote from somewhere, sounds like "Steps in Private" but I could be wrong, I definately reconise it. Could it be a possibility that the book is one of the ones that has been released here in the UK but a different cover there in Australia?
